Here it is. It looks huge, but the front of the plinth is shorter than a regular paperclip:

    Hi,
Only had one collection that I seriously regret selling. When I was moving from my brownstone in Brooklyn to the tiny Co-Op. I had 37 Vaseline water pitchers. They took up so much room. 25 of them went to one collector, the rest sold within 3 days. Even today the cost of replacing them would bankrupt anyone. The most I paid for one was 15 dollars, the cheapest one was 25 cents. My favorite was one I found in Canada and was never able to ID. It was 3 bucks and absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

Thank you so much for showing me. I love it.

So much detail,in something so small! It looks really tactile. Imagine all the hands that have held it!

They are not stashed really but in plain & beautiful view. I get to look at them every day & they never fail to make me smile.:happy:

As far as hiding them from the DH that would be hopelessly futile as he has been an eyewitness as the collection grew from a few scattered bottles to its present state.:eek::):) I often hear "that is just what we need another damn perfume bottle" always said with a smile. I just reply that yes as a matter of fact I did need another one. :p:p:p:p :hilarious::hilarious:

I have stashed, and I also have *on display* which is a rather grand way of saying my stuff is everywhere.
I have Sindy collector friends natch, and their stuff is lovely & tidy. One dolly on a mantel..one or two delicately displayed with stands...a free standing glassed cabinet maybe with one year per shelf. Then you get Me.

The above pic is actually one of my tidiest  I have worse that are too bad to take pics of.
They prop each other up and if one moves then there is a domino effect.

I don't *hide* anything per se, I just feel a bit sorry for the man sometimes and make an effort to tidy away bit but alas! My stash places have stash in them already :(

I am happy to say my office is in a much better state than is shown in my photos. The garage while better still has a long way to go. :p:p:p

I spent the last few weeks(!) clearing the top of my desk. I wish I had taken a picture before I started. Full of jewellery, beads and findings, snuff bottles, silver trinket/pill boxes, Sumatran silver betel boxes, Zuni fetishes. Anyway, all of the stuff one can't do without. And the things I found!
Somewhere in between is just enough space for my laptop.

I don't collect any one thing. I just collect whatever strikes my fancy. The closest to my type of collecting I've seen is the Edward Gorey house. Funky stuff on windowsills and bureau tops. ;)

I blame my father, he also has a house full of stuff. However, none of my kids seem to have inherited my compulsion...maybe I put them off
