I don't mean to dash cold water, but ... the only threads that come to mind that are informative and that have been maintained and have additions by multiple posters for quite a while are the cameo threads started by Bronwen. I'm sure there are others, but... for now I can't think of them.There are also some excellent threads with information mostly by just one person, like the Tibetan jewelry thread by Any Jewelry, and the informative ones about types of lace by Northern Lights Lodge.
