Just another brass pot (age / origin?)

    I really like the engraving on this small ( H:8cm) brass pot/vase, especially the bird shown in the first pic.

    But I have no idea on age and country of origin - anyone have thoughts?

    Would it be hand engraved (stamped)?

    Yea, thanks. looks like you're right... I found several similar Indian 'water bowls'.

    Any thoughts on age, anyone?
