    Wrong symbolism. You can put a flower in front of him or next to him, as a sign of respect, but please, not instead of the mirror
    I am sure you can kyratise a mirror for him.:happy: Otherwise, please leave him as he is. Cute as he is, he is still a spiritual figure.

    Most Bayu hilts I've seen are 'empty-handed', and no one really cares.
    I inherited a Bayu hilt, and his mirror hand is filled with clay-like mud from having been buried during WWII (the Germans raided homes for anything metal, and anything or anyone else). So he clearly didn't have his mirror in 1940.

    You're on the right track.:happy: The mirror is Baroqueish, but not as leaf-shaped as your aluminum cake mold cut out. Some examples here:

    Aluminum cake molds are the providence of ingenious girls!:p

    I'm as pleased as Bayu seems:happy: and the "mirror" isn't as pointy as it seemed first, pheew.
    Yet to get the matching greyish hue on the metal (ex mold:joyful:).
    Surprisingly, no swearing during the process, Bayu influence???:hilarious:
    I always keep strange things, hubby grumbles about it... But he now and then ask me " wouldn't you have something convenient to repair this or that?" HA!!!
