Just making sure this small painting isn't anything really good

    I bought this a week ago and figure my sister and BIL will be getting it for Christmas. It's most likely the Italian Alps. The signature looks like Volpl or Volpi. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    It looks like starving artist to me, so that probably means the art world would like it

    That's what I thought - art by the yard, but on the good end of that. It reminds me now of one of those cheap 500-piece jigsaw puzzles, come to think. They tend to be pretty, but not too original. I have an old affection for those things; my grandmother and I used to do them.
