Late teens-20s. Can't tell wood from this pic. Probably a non-descript wood stained to mimic mahogany. Hardware appears to be original.

This is a case where it might be 100 years old, but no one will ever care. I'm betting the drawers work better than anything but those roller gliders. I'm not sure I'd go with hot pink and purple, but it would be better than brown or (gagging noises) avocado green with black speckles.

Ditto, has seen some spectacular paint/decorating examples of this era of furniture, gives it a new lease on surviving as well.

Not my colors of choice but, looks a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
The forum is mostly ANTI-PAINT people in here, I don't know why.
EA furniture, for example, was almost ALWAYS painted originally but usually by the time I get it 300 years later it's almost ALWAYS missing its paint!

I see a lot of this type/era of furniture that has been painted on Etsy, some of them are pretty good at it and, it seems to SELL.

I'm sanding and it looks to be a tiger oak. This is all original there is a metal or medallion on the mirror. I'll take a picture.

If it's quarter-sawn I wouldn't mess with it too much, but YMMV. If it has damaged veneer paint is the best thing that can happen to it.
