[QUOTE="kyratango, post: 465879, member: 5006"]Hi all:) This mystery box appealed me (I collect insect jewellery:joyful:). Just bought it, so it isn't in my hands yet. Seems old, the crazing and general condition are consistant for it being older than modern/vintage;) diameter: 12cm or 4.5/8" height: 7cm or 2.3/4" The seller's pics are clear enough to show the material, white ceramic, with thick vitreous enamel and metallic wires included in the decor. The whole thing looking as an usual cloisonné on metal, but no metal here, except the wires:bucktooth: Never seen anything like this, and I can't find any other examples when googling for cloisonné on ceramic! Any idea of what I have here?
