    Hello there! Does anyone know some information on this as to what it was for? Brooch ? I’m fascinated to find out what could have been its contents.
    it’s approximately 14 cm x 3 cm

    Oh wow , that’s fantastic. This was my nans so it’s great to be able to connect this to her. thank you. I’ll have to see if the cheroot holder is anywhere

    I don't know how old your nan was, but it could have been her father's or grandfather's.
    I still have my great-grandfather's cheroot holder in a case like yours.:)

    She was 85 so yes it could possibly be her fathers. Thank you I will keep in a safe place .
