Well, I thought she was calling herself a nerd and needed help. I didn't read it that we were the nerds. I just thought she forgot the comma.:hilarious::hilarious:

    Hi,
I think the lady meant to say Ladies inkwell, NEED help with mark. Now that we have "jumped" all over her I think we might have scared her off. I do apologize for the boards laughter, please do not get defensive, we get crazy here once in a while except for Komo and KoT who are crazy all of the time.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think Lucy knows us by now, she has been posting a lot. She may not have had time to check on the thread.

My fault. Using a mobile. Tiny letters for human fingers. No offense taken at all. I appreciate your sense of humor and contributions. Feel free to go on. LOVE it.

I don't mind misspelling, it can add a lot of fun to a dreary winter's day. It did in this case, so thank you for that. And thank you for being such a good sport about it.:)

I find sometimes I make what I think of as 'Freudian typos', often with the left hand (as in typing R for E), making them seem like intrusions from the inarticulate right hemisphere of my brain, little jokes on the constantly babbling left hemisphere.

Don't know that this helps but this is from a newspaper ad from 1948. Bethwood Royal China table lamps. I don't have a subscription so this is about the best photo I think there is.
