Lamp value and age?

    Hello and welcome.
    Could you please show a picture of the total lamp and one of the plug/wiring.

    Pottery looks 1940s/50s.

    Don't think this is a TV lamp. Am guessing there were originally a pair and known as table torchiers. Often found used on mantels. I am on board with a 40s-50s date.

    This is nicer than most. Condition is everything with these. Assuming perfect condition, could see this bringing $100.00 or more in the right market. I could not get that in my semi-rural Midwest market but I am sure people would be all over this in other places. Ebay would be a good venue but shipping without damage would be tough. If any damage at all, value drops significantly.

    I don't see any chips or damage. Is in great condition. I need to gently clean it still. Also they did change the original cord as they didnt want it to cause a fire. I will be keeping this for myself!

    Would think an insurance value would be more like $200-250.00.

    It has the look of some of the California pottery companies. I agree with Brad in the right venue it might bring $75-100
