FORGET-ME-NOT (AKA) by Multiple Makers, before 1904

Manufacturers: Cambridge Glass #112 (OMN), McKee Bros Lattice (OMN), Westmoreland #2 (OMN), and possibly Canton before Cambridge took over. Also see St Louis World's Fair plate.

Awesome TallCakes! Thankyou so much. I will go and Google.

Edit-Just had a look and Westmoreland brings up several examples. It’s a very long way from home in the UK - do you think the pattern was copied or likely Westmoreland?
Much older than I expected too!

    Hi,
Those are NOT Forget me knots they are Luneria and was made by Westmoreland. In the early years 1940s/50s. Forget me Knots have five petals. Lunaria had four petals. I have about 5 or six pieces, some in white milk glass, one in blue and one or two in green.

These plates would be nice to use for setting out cookies, unless it is smaller than I imagine.

Here is the flower but I’m struggling to find any examples of the plate online. There are references to it but no photos. Either it’s not common, I’m using the incorrect spelling or most sellers just haven’t ID’d the pattern.
whichever it’s still a long way from home and Amazon it’s still in one piece as it’s been rattling round in a box of scrap waiting to be sold!.
@gregsglass do you have any links I can follow, I can’t even see anything much about production or the factory. Maybe the U.K. search engines can’t find it.
    Thanks for your help :)

    Hi,
The info that I received about the plates from Westmoreland also state they they have a shallow inset. The info came from the Westmoreland company before they went out of business. I wonder if there's a Westmoreland collectors club to further the history?

    Hi,
Just remembered that were used a lot for wall hanging. People wove ribbons through the holes and painted scenes on the center of the plate. I sold a lot of used stamps to people who cut them up to decoupage scenes also.

As @gregsglass as already stated, these plate-types make good wall-hangings. I've seen such items fitted with modern-day quartz clock movements, but of course these will have holes drilled to accommodate the clock-hands. This is not such an issue with low valued glass or pottery and it at least brings new life into an object rather than stashing it out of sight and use.

here is an example of my own. A large 16" diameter bowl designed by D'Avesn, for Verlys, France. I managed to purchase a round mirror for it which I've fitted without damaging the glass in any way. The bowl takes up a lot of room upon a table, but looks great on a wall...Secured safely of course.

Often times when I go to estate sales, this kind of milk glass plate is hanging on the wall in the kitchen via ribbon or an attached hanger, I also find them in the living room as part of the decor in older homes.
