Learned something new about mid century modern furniture,,,

I go scouting/hunting/picking out in Central PA to parlay that trip with a visit to a friend and his family. I go to the smallest antique stores I can find, to find artwork, collectibles, country style mostly,,,what one would expect from rural/central anywhere.
Well we had a gentleman come in today who was very interested in our mid century modern, and he happened to tell me that central PA is full of mid century, in homes and offices, since so many of the factories and mills who produced that style of furniture were based out in PA.
So now I think when I am out in PA I will shift my hunt toward garage sales and estates!
Anyone else with insight on the mid century modern availability, or lack thereof, in Central PA?
