Featured Leather Goggles

Picked up these for 4 euros today. They're grey leather with glass lenses. The strap is part twill fabric, part elastic, but the elastic doesn't feel very stretchy. There are four small ventilation vents. Any idea on age or origin? I found a similar one that is WWI British, but it's brown instead of gry.

Also, one of the leather cups is slightly smooshed; how can I return it to its original shape?

 

I think they're Amelia's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just KIDDING!! Very neat though!! But why would you want to return them to original??? They're part of HISTORY!!!!

The OP's look like they started out blue. The could have been a little later, or maybe Canadian?

Good point. To be honest, that didn't occur to me... I figured, different colors, different countries, perhaps different time periods...
