Later in life, he became a director of the famous Southend Kursaal Pleasure Palace.</p><p><br /></p><p>Jack had an eye for the wonderful, designing the Kursaal Flyer train and the amazing Golden Hind attraction, both sadly no longer exist. His house seemed like the Victoria and Albert Museum, with amazing ceilings and packed with interesting objects picked up on his travels.</p><p><br /></p><p>Nick&#039;s father Roger had an appreciation of the interesting and beautiful, having worked for years in the world of interior and fashion magazines. He went on to open SPINK, a well- known antique shop in Leigh on Sea England. By sourcing and selling objects that only Roger seemed to be able to find, it drew clientele from all over the country.</p><p><br /></p><p>Allison with a background in design and Nick a Creative in the advertising industry, are carrying forward the family passion of sourcing and renovating.
