Letter opener- information please

    Hi. I found this letter opener amongst my Mum’s belongings when she passed away, and would appreciate some information on it, please.

    Jacqui Clark, have you "googled" the words "Blair Atholl"?

    I did and found some interesting information about the Scottish town.;)

    Obviously a souvenir. Appears to be made of horn. And the font makes it likely pre-World War II.

    Stag horn to be precise. Often used for handles and little souvenirs. I'd agree on early 20th.

    Stags don't have horns. Antler.

    True, but we call the material stag horn here. Or antler horn.
