He served in the United States Air Force and then received his BFA at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and his MFA from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA where he studied with painters Angelo Savelli, Piero Durazio and Sculptor, James House Jr. He taught fine arts to college and high school students and was an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a collector of art and craft from all over the world. He was passionate about the arts and instrumental in developing fine arts and creative arts centers throughout the United States while tirelessly working to perfect his craft, working in all forms of media until his death in 2017, when he was laid to rest at The National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He lived and worked all over the United States and traveled the world, but he always felt his home was Corrales, NM.
