Not sure what metal is it's composition, but it's heavy for the size. 2.25" tall at spout and it weighs 5.5 ounces. It may be silver, or silver-plated over a heavy base metal. It almost seems lead-like, but would they have used lead for food items even back in the 1920s?

It is marked on the bottom as being from the long defunct Van Curler Hotel in Schenectady, NY. What I could find out about it in photo.

Silver plated pewter, but lead was used until the very early 70's
