Featured Little Wedgewood Stove

    I was trying to figure out what model and year this stove is every thing is pretty much worn off on the plate. I was hoping someone might be able to help. I have searched the internet and came up empty. I think am using the wrong key words. TIA

    It was on pinterest, so all I have is the image. Here's an article on Wedgewood stoves, and finding their labels, with some resources for finding a catalog (look for "James Graham Manufacturing" catalog) and the names of a couple of stove restorers and forums who might have some knowledge.

    It's such a small stove. Just 27 inches across the top. At first I wondered whether it would have been for a small apartment or something? It looks real, so couldn't be for a child, could it?

    I think for apartments and such would be a good guess. 27" was and still is one of the standard sizes for kitchen ranges, though most sold today are 30" or larger.

    I saw that one on pintrest it is similar I found several like that but they all have fixed sides not ones that fold down. And I was able to find 1 with the same marking an they advertised it as from the 20's. I love the label do to the fact that it's Wedgewood and have the little piece of pottery in it. Maybe that's why they changed Lawsuit LOL

    No not for a child it is gas, and does work. I was thinking maybe a cabin or something but heck I just don't know. It's so frustrating because I am usually pretty good at researching things. I hate it when I get stumped on something that should be so easy.
