<p>
I found this locket/watchcase today that had a wire wrapped around the stem to make a pendant loop and that was strung on old lamp or fan pull chain. As unprepossessing as that sounds, it appeared that the back was finely made, so I brought it home. It is large with a 2 inch diameter - not counting the stem and is 3/8 inch wide. </p><p style="text-align: left"><span style="font-size: 16px"><font face="Verdana"><span style="color: rgb(20, 20, 20)">There appears to be a lined interior, and some dark green enamel paint intertwined with the stones. There is fine work on the top and sides and a hinge. </span></font></span></p><p> It is not magnetic and there are no marks that I can find on the outside. The stem at the top has a hole, which I assume had a piece that connected it to something else.</p><p>I wanted to present it to you all in order to get some idea of what it was and recommendations on what to do. It looks like it may have been glued shut, so I will have to either remove the glue myself or take it to a jeweler who will charge me an arm and a leg. So it is worth pursuing further or is it a modern reproduction?</p><p><img src="https://attachment.outlook.live.net/owa/MSA%3Aclassicrb%40msn.com/service.svc/s/GetAttachmentThumbnail?id=AQMkADAwATcwMAItODBiZC1iNjYAMi0wMAItMDAKAEYAAAP3YT1RhhHfQJ33552i%2BHnlBwA06Kax%2FNLOSbBT9kmdT3hFAAACAQwAAAA06Kax%2FNLOSbBT9kmdT3hFAANDqOCCAAAAARIAEADxp5gC8lcMTq5QSnOQh5i9&thumbnailType=2&owa=outlook.live.com&scriptVer=2020011305.14&isc=1&X-OWA-CANARY=wrSrw-Pr5kW95tagxd0r3-DSnHegn9cYH2BWW9kwOEjbdma1DT1-Bey7KGfAhXHzrNxV71K20qc.&token=eyJhbGciOiJSUzI1NiIsImtpZCI6IjU2MzU4ODUyMzRCOTI1MkRERTAwNTc2NkQ5RDlGMjc2NTY1RjYzRTIiLCJ4NXQiOiJWaldJVWpTNUpTM2VBRmRtMmRueWRsWmZZLUkiLCJ0eXAiOiJKV1QifQ.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.nL_D5oV-2NwniJG1JrWwJrx6Q4R5siGAfuVQVgRS_UVxhs4XM4KPRHocUfSYwvpN-gy9m8LTEKPT3lNKRH1dXDfC6-Kkb1ZJDKuUG_5mlfjnHvGW6W9r-UxnXejtHIVTH1QQ-OTehl9qqHml6tZWVrM_p-QYexINU89xgeY5Lpl3wZ5m1aQlzvv93qyAhVOwFjv8ttROGxLfITRKlcvOCPOPg2-28GLM2r7cSrMb-bGxPDworIr_ZIDDqX7j0O681HqbPqB_HAhncHiz1aW9YDsaorPU6D-pHXNrvO-0f6E2LlF5TYlKlHAv0hfRJnpVFLxmovUhKZbZa35UdBwPvw&animation=true" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>
</p><p><br /></p>
