lol i like your little duckie Gila.......I had a little luck at a garage sale saturday too! I was working and it was on my route, I saw a glimmer of colored glass, so I had to look. I spent $32.00, but came out with a Tiffiny Sterling Necklace ( In original box) It's a letter K small by some famous chick ( parelli, peressi?// something like that.) 2 jadeite D handle coffeee mugs and a Nutcracker animated music box wich has four different animated scenes. Its a big circus tent looking thing. its pretty cool. I was stoked when I looked up the Tiffany Necklace and saw they are selling in the mid $ $100's up to $279. WOO HOO!
had a ton of yard sales here last satuday. too bad I had to work!

Thanks all! yes i was stoked. I have never found a piece of Tiffany at a yard sale. i paid $20 for it. I kind of suspected it could be fake, but when I looked at it after I got home....I realized that the hole in the K is so small that you could never take it off the chain. The hole is just big enough for the chain to go through. Then I looked it up on eBay. I couldn't believe what they were selling for....I don't know if I'm going to sell it.....or gift it to my sister Kathy. I'm tempted to sell tho....

They're one of my favorites - finding the matching vase at an affordable price took some effort. I've only been able to obtain three of the stretch animals: horse, goat, and lion. I did see a little herd of three horses, though, in a showcase at a mall in Indianapolis this past weekend. Horses are probably the most common and affordable. I'd like to get one of each animal but I may not live that long! ;)

Ah, I was wondering if that was a matching item.

I got the teapot for $5 at a small yard sale in an upscale neighborhood. Took a few years to run across the C&S for $10/the set at another sale (where I specifically went looking for plants! ;))

Good luck with the animal search!
