We need more opinions, but I think it's a fake, probably from China.

MT - Keep in mind when searching such things that Limoges is a place, not a company.

Yeah, I’m with the “reproduction, imitation, fake” opinion. Thick foot-rim, sloppy glaze in bottom implies newer manufacture and Limoges mark without country of origin...

The color is also wrong for Limoges. The background color should be a rich cobalt blue not a black. Most scenes on Limoges pieces like this are Fragonard style. Courting scenes more than court or mythological scenes.

Yes, it's another hallmark. It's cheaper to keep using one decal than creating multiple decals.

It's a nicety to leave photos up so the thread can continue to educate others.

Yes, I'm sorry about that. I only deleted the pictures because I ran out of room to upload photos of more things I wanted to share. I think it said the limit was 35 photos. Is there any way I can upload more than that?

Yes, there is. Upload directly to your posts. You'll have to learn how to resize, but it's very simple!
