Yes, you have to join - you are pending until the admin approves you, then you can post. Might be quick, might take a bit of time, depends on if the admin is around.

Ah, that makes sense. Getting any kind of detailed info on this skillet is like trying to find a snowball in the Sahara. Thanks :)

I've been searching in a few different places for any kind of T & C Clark cookware info but haven't come up with anything new yet. I'm thinking about starting to scour UK forums for any more detailed info since that's where it was made.

I have a similar T&C Clark pot. Can anyone help me with the date of manufacture? Thanks.

welcome to the forum Hamilton:) another member Quigi has a Clark piece with the gate mark like your piece has, he thought the date would be 1839-1860, I don't know if he was able to confirm that information. As Steersman pointed out many other companies used casting methods that left the characteristic gate marks up to 1890 or so.
So you can be sure it is pre-1900, made in England, but would need more research to narrow it down.
Yours looks like it will clean up nicely:)

Thank you cxgirl. I wonder if Quigi has learned anything new since 2016?
I do love this old stuff!
