    Looking for information on this clock. Any idea on manufacturer or approximate year of manufacturing? Appreciate any assistance.

    It’s a mercury pendulum clock, probably Japy Freres, Paris. Looks like it’s marked.

    never seen a clock with mercury in it....! wow !!

    Mercury filled pendulums were used on many nice "crystal regulators" like this. Others had metal tubes inside the glass to look like mercury pendulums. Some were US made, others in France. Like an earlier comment, I suspect this one is French. A close up of the circular mark near the bottom of the movement probably reveals the trademark of the manufacturer, and very possibly the name. That the key is English means little, as keys are often replaced.
