Looking for similar lamp

    Hello,

    My grandfather recently passed away and my mom is looking for a lamp similar to what he used to have. I don't know anything about antiques or how I would describe this lamp to find a similar one. Below is a photo. I'm told those are apple blossoms. I would appreciate any help!

    I would look for "vintage milk glass hurricane table lamp apple blossoms".

    Well, now I know where the chimney on my oil lamp originally came from, lol!
    (When I actually use the lamp, I remove the fancy chimney and use a plain clear glass one. Or would the milk glass be able to handle the intense heat?)

    Hmmmm, since the OP is using Laurel Leaf Farm's photo, he/she/they must have already known the descriptors... :)

    Oh, for the long, lost days of Woolworth's! In the 40s and 50s, boudoir lamps were on every teenager's dressing table. (I had a pair of the white hobnail ones.) Milk glass should certainly be able to withstand the heat from a 100 watt bulb. However, somehow the idea of a chimney from that era paired with the green glass of an oil lamp does not appeal as much as a plain one.
