Majolica ... any ideas about this old thing?

    It's pretty worn and measures about 25 x 20 x 4 cm deep. There are no marks but someone is bound to know it instantly. I'm going squint peering vainly at vine leaves. It feels old to me. Info on age and maker would be much appreciated. Thank you and good night.

    Yes it does look quite old. Be good to see a photo side on. I'm thinking majolica probably English c1850-1890 but in the absence of any marks don't hold me to that as similar wares were made in France.
