Majolica Pitcher

    Would anyone know anything about this pitcher? Stands 7 1/2" tall. I do have a majolica book but this pitcher design is not in the book I have. There is an initial or something on the base which will not come off.

    Nice piece, but unless you can read the mark it will be hard to attribute - the English used that pink glaze on the insides (George Jones, Wedgwood etc) but I sure others did too.

    Blooey that is not a factory mark. Looks like an initial in marker.
