majolica with cherubs holding up a globe, any idea where or who?

    Yes. "English" and "Moore" and circa something.

    Image search Moore Bros porcelain cherubs. It looks like Moore Brothers could be the maker.

    Consistent with their styling. Looking at the online images, I think I once had a piece of theirs that was never identified. I'll have to see if I can find the pics and update the file.

    Wot significance of the red cross and dots?I don't see that as moore bros mark or of any marks so far.

    That's likely the mark of the person who did the coloring. Stuff like that was piece work.
