It is not really a pretty vase but I find it attractive in an odd sort of way:) The green is really brilliant.
Any info would be appreciated. Are the chips in the glaze damage or age?
    Thanks, Finbar

I don't think so - just a multicolor glaze. Rather reminds me of a Roseville reproduction. Not a bad looking vase.

Sorry, missed the question regarding the chips. I think it's a manufacturing issue. The wet glaze stuck to the kiln and left those marks when the vase was removed. JMHO.

    Hi @Finbar

    I think it's pretty-attractive :)

The base shows no wear, though, so I'm guessing some kind of reproduction. Pottery peeps will know what original it's based on...

Thanks Don. I will have a closer look. I thought I got it in perfect shape so I hope it might be a wet glaze issue. F

Sort of an approximation of this Roseville Bushberry vase but definitely modern Chinese.
