Hi inh, measures 8 by 10 inches

It hasn't filled me with much confidence though looking at the photos themselves

Hardly any aging or signs of age

I thought that if you looked with a loupe and saw no print dots that meant it was a photograph

So I guess reproduction photograph ?

Is there such a thing ?

I’m home now and able to look at them on a bigger screen. At my initial glance there isn’t really much evidence there that indicates a vintage or first print. They do appear to be prints made later, perhaps at the oldest I would give would be prints done in the 1980’s if there is some but very little age signs. Don’t take it as the final word I’m only looking from what pictures are here. I know from my experience and instincts at looking at true vintage, (I go by my initial instinct & am usually right a good percentage of the time) I hope I have not discouraged you further, but that is sorta what I’m seeing there.

Thanks vm, I think your instincts are right, just looking at the photos I don't get any indication of age

They were only 50p each, so it's no loss!!

    You've been a great help

    Many thanks

In the taxonomy of ladies' undies, a bikini swimsuit bottom or panties sit well below the waistline. The magazine cover & newspaper examples [Edit: first one, with polka dots] have high cut legs, but are not true bikinis, & Mansons' suggestion that it could be a maillot under that sweater is reasonable.

When women wear heels all the time, they can develop a shortened Achilles tendon & no longer be able to wear flat or lower heeled shoes comfortably. Pointing the foot makes the calf muscle look more curvaceous when seen from the side; less so seen from the front. A flexed foot does the reverse. Heard Angie Dickinson, known for her gams, explain on the Tonight Show that she always sat with her legs crossed & pressed the calf of top leg against the other to make it look fuller.

Now, what's with that extremely strange first pose on the beach. Yoga asana? And where is the back tie of her suit?

Very interesting information. And yes, where is the back tie? Perhaps tucked in, or edited/burned out of the photo.

sorry not easy to type without my computer, but i think the back tie was removed in the bending pose because the bosom is so loose with gravity.

I think that’s probably the reason why she has no back ties for certain
