Mark on Cup and Saucer

    This is all hand painted. Cup stands 2 1/2" tall saucer measures 5 5/8" across. Both have the same mark.

    Google "Japanese Imari Black Ships Pattern" and you will see more pieces in this style. It looks nice quality but not particularly old. I can't help with the signature sorry.

    This 秀峰 (Shuho) is one of Arita-yaki makers, but not as significant as Kakiemon or Imaemon (rather, it is common maker). Kurofune (black ship) pattern which describes the arrival of some western ship to Japan.
