Featured Market for vintage sink stoppers?

    Found this, almost tossed it, then I looked on Ebay. 20 $ and up for some! People use them like that or are the corroded stoppers reconditioned or replaced somehow? I think it would make a cool ceiling fan pull.

    If you go back and go to edit, and put your cursor at the bottom right of the dupe photo, and backspace, you can clear it off. :)

    The rubber on that looks deader than Jacob Marley, but you're right about the fan pull. It's not useful as a stopper any more, but there's no reason it couldn't be used for another purpose. The copper (or bronze?) chain alone is worth a few bucks.

    In the UK we call them plugs :)
