I am especially interested in the Radical Reformation and the various theological issues and debates of the era, and while these days there is plenty of English language academic literature on the various early Anabaptist sects, the German Peasants&#039; War etc., knowing German (and Dutch) would open up a whole new world of research materials on these subjects.</p><p><br /></p><p>On that note, I could hardly believe my eyes when I started discovering books like Georg Tumbült&#039;s <i>Die Wiedertäufer</i> and Julius von Pflugk-Harttung&#039;s <i>Im Morgenrot der Reformation</i> among the old man&#039;s book collection. Perhaps not rare books in Germany, but to find both in Finland at the same time (and in excellent condition) was quite a surprise, and they are a most welcome addition to my humble library.
