Matched Paintings

    I took a little bit of a gamble on these two oil paintings. I'd welcome any and all comments.

    One is crudely framed, the other isn't, no signature on either, and they seem to be somehow inverted images of each other, perhaps looking from opposite directions...??? Does the setting look European?

    Both are 16" x 20" and were found in my antique mall in Portland, Oregon.

    Of all weird things, I've now found a large (36" x 24"), full-image imitation of this same Van Gogh painting Debora identified above. Maybe an art class was clearing out inventory or something. :wacky::rolleyes: It came from the same place as the other two above but seems to be much newer.

    Anyway, I kinda like this one so I made it a quick frame. There's a hard-to-read signature.

    I thought I'd share as a follow up to the previous ones.
