    I don't think these are Meissen. Hope I'm wrong. Can you get a clear photo of the mark?

    Their 'pedestals' are longer on yours, @sunday silence, and he's had a repair to his base....is his beard maybe dark because that too might have some sort of repair???? Just a quick comparison....we know they're not identical anyhoo.....

    I think you're right. None of the Meissen busts I've seen have that squarish base that we see on the ones I posted.
