I'm kind of excited about this piece--I think it's beautiful. Anyway, the silver-plate warmer part is marked CDE Germany with crossed swords, which is the mark for Carl Deffner of Esslingen, Germany, in business from 1900-1959. The dome is marked only "Germany". I would think the set dates early 1900s. My question is, do you think the platter is Meissen? It sure looks like it, but since I can't see the back, I'm not 100% sure. What do you think?
