Hi, I’m a regular visitor to this site, but first time poster. Is anyone able to help identify the designer or manufacturer of these chairs? They are engraved with the CC41 mark, showing that the originated from Britain and were made in the 40s/50s. Other than that, I have no more clues. Any help in solving this mystery is very much appreciated! Thanks

Thanks all! @Ownedbybear thats as far as I’d managed to get - despite scouring the web, I’ve not been able to find any similar to lead me to a manufacturer or designer. It may be destined to remain a mystery!

You may never find out. Utility was done by a conglomeration of designers, some well know, most anonymous. And as to maker, there were scores of factories making identical patterns.
