Does anybody know if these are ww1 or ww2 ?
And how much they could be worth ?

I don't see any military markings in the posted photos. They are British, so there would be a broad arrow mark or turkey foot as it's called by many, somewhere on them. Check the tubes when fully opened they could be marked there. It would look like the one below.


They do date to around WW1 or turn of the century.

I just noticed a turkey foot mark on the case, looks oddball the way it's placed though.

Do you think somebody might have put it on to pretend they are military when in fact they are just old binoculars?

 

i'd check for a mark on the binoculars themselves before calling them British military.

 

They aren’t representative of binoculars made for any military service, they are inexpensive binoculars made for use at sporting events, etc. The “broad arrow” on the case doesn’t look right to me, but looks like it was made with three strikes of a chisel that don’t line up perfectly. The maker’s mark on the case is civilian format.

 

I finally got to taking a picture of the binoculars with the markings on them .
Seems they were used for military use

Good work, glad you looked more. The USNavy had a program (maybe copied from UK? ) where they asked civilians to loan binoculars during the war, which were to be returned to the lender afterward. I’m guessing that’s how these got the government property marks. A distinguishing difference between civilian and made-for-military binoculars was the optical path, including prisms for military, and the straight-through path for ones like yours. Prism-types came into use about 1900, I just learned, here:

S.3 means High Grade Galilean Binoculars.
