WorthPoint is anything but an expert. All they do is &quot;ape&quot; what someone else has put in an online description. It seems the WorthPoint listing connected US Glass because of the collar. They say the collar was a patented by US Glass and that the company was very protective of their patents &lt;per McDonald, &quot;Evolution of the Night Lamp&quot;&gt;; therefore, &quot;we&#039;d guess&quot; the lamp was made by US Glass. Excuse me for another welllll... That certainly is not a reliable source to say US Glass was the lamp maker. Those inset brass threaded glass collars were made by several companies.
