modernist abstract art glass? controlled bubble

does anyone recognise this or know more about it? its a little strange but well made almost perfect, looks like a leaf or a tongue

 

Fish or a tadpole. The last picture looks like there is an eye in the front. Just my guess

 

It's very well done. Those tiny very regular bubbles are more typically Italian bullicante. Fish.

Yes, agree with @blooey stand it up on the polished flat base-does look like a penguin!

 

unfortunately it doesn't stand up on the base without falling over, its hard to describe it doesn't really look like anything, kind of typical modern art? but has to have been done by a professional
