Mold Blown Cobalt Blue Pitcher

    Agree with Greg.
    Whenever I see 'blobby' artisanal glass of that gorgeous, deep cobalt blue, I think Mexico.
    1970s maybe?

    (I'm sure there is a better term for blobby.)

    Not to contradict the above but to note the optic. There seems to be a wide optic "ribbing" inside the pitcher, this puts is a notch or two above the most common of Mexican glass. This also may be why the term "mold blown" was used. And it appears to have a flat aground ring on the bottom. Ditto notch above.

    Mold blown because there are visible side seams.
    The flat ring in combination with a rough pontil is something that I don’t see very often.
