Welcome, kellaurm. Disclaimer - I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MOORCROFT products. Lots of questions, though. 1. Where do you plan to offer it for sale? 2. Why take $1,000 if you could maybe get 5 or 6 times that? 3. Is there a good reason for getting rid of it quickly. None of my business if so, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,?? 4. What other research have you done? 5. Did you check out this site? They have many for sale. Discontinued ones. http://www.garland-holmes.com/moorcroft-pottery/moorcroft-pottery-retired-designs.htm If you haven't scanned their site, I suggest you might do so, AND ask them if they're interested in handling it. They certainly have experience, but that doesn't mean they are anyone's fist choice in buying or selling. If, for instance, you're thinking of eBay, there is no harm in putting it up for auction at $3,700 and see what happens. You can always drop the price and relist it. 6. Are you experienced with eBay selling? Some have sold there over $3,000. Sorry, but way too many other questions in my mind. Give is some more hints on what you would like to do, and what you have or have not done with similar items. Please, and thanks.
