As well as the Neiger, he also sold me these. The brooch was I think six, the buckle four and he threw in the pearl and silver pendant.

Bracelet weighs 137 grammes. He sold it to me for seventy quid.

Love the charm bracelet. How did she get that many on one bracelet? It's nicely stuffed! Too bad there wasn't a daughter, DIL, or niece for that one. It looks like one person's entire life.

I often use charms (or did, been slacking lately) in my doll house decor. So Id be all over that bracelet. That pin with the birds looks like a pill box lid someone converted.

The brooch motif is so typically sentimental late Victorian. I’d not thought of it being a conversion, but it might have been. If so, it was done not long after it was made.

And yes, that bracelet is absolutely someone’s life. Her 21st birthday, wedding, the Coronation, she was Jewish. Had at least one child, loved skating.

Love the charm bracelet. Actually, I like all of it but have a soft spot for charm bracelets. That would keep a child happy for an hour or so in church!

I’m a sucker for charm bracelets. I’ve two I’ve collected myself over many years, plus the ones which keep mysteriously appearing in the house.

I'd love to see the Victorian piece made into a necklace. It's stuning.

I'd have nabbed that charm bracelet too. She sure had fun loading it up! It's a crying shame when those leave families, but there may not have been any family left.

I bought another from him last year, same price. Not as weighty, but it has some amazing charms. A Concorde, flying doctor and other super things. I’m a bit obsessed with them I think. This latest one has some wonderful articulation: a wee box opens to reveal a “diamond “ ring, the caravan opens, the church does too and the carousel revolves.

Mobile charms are worth more than scrap - just don't let on!
