Mosaic Brooch Made in Italy

I have another little brooch I would like to giveaway. It is stamped Italy ALP and is glass tesserae. I think perhaps dating back to 1930's. If you are a well known member and are interested please let me know. If I have more than one interested person I will draw the name from a hat
If you have put your name down for the Limoges brooch you are also more than welcome to go in the draw for this one. I will post to anywhere in the world.

Of course. Thanks Cheryl. I also love the way the conversation can go in so many different directions. I have actually learned so much from this happening. I tend to have a very vivid imagination and I'm led off track very easily but wouldn't have it any other way

 

Just love that stuff. Watched an old antiques roadshow (English one) tonight and they had a snuff box with pieces of glass so small they looked like a painting. Value about 6K pounds. Please please throw my name in the hat.

 

It just needed another bump and a bit of a shout.

 

My ex and I are both story-tellers, opinionated, with a wide variety of interests, and our conversations, which dwindled to nothing when we were together (one of many reasons we split 20 years ago), are one of the pleasures of our friendship, though he is so prone to tangents that I will often have to ask how he even landed on a topic...

There we go, now it's started!

It is beautiful Tracy, but (in a weird way) I think it’s a positive sign that people haven’t flocked to get something with monetary value for free, it means they’re following their hearts. Have you considered eBaying it? There’s someone out there who be overjoyed to discover it, I am sure
