Peggy, I remember when you sold that. The used smelly shoes for the foot fetish folks was the other stand out that I remember from that finds thread.

One other crazy thing I sold was the original box for a Vogue Ginny doll box.

Now you are saying what is so strange about that. Everyone knows that it would be wonderful to have the original box for an old toy.:confused::confused::confused:

However, this particular box had been used to store someone's salt & pepper shakers. This also would had been fine, but they wrote in black magic marker in large letters "S&P Shakers" on the lid. :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:

It ended up selling for $35.00. :wacky::wacky::wacky::wacky:

Every time the bid went up I checked to make sure all of the photos were still there & no one had deleted the part of the description that had the condition of the lid. :):):hilarious::hilarious:

I have never been brave enough to list any shoes although I will admit I have been tempted. :shame::shame::shame:

I thought about opening a separate account just to sell old shoes. When I find out what the cost is for my new dental work, I may find the courage. :p

The "well worn shoes" auctions. Eek! I'd forgotten about that.

This brings a memory, I was still a crib baby in the middle 1930's and these things were tied on my hands! Aluminum with floral perforations. But not for long after I made a whole lot of noise and banged them on the crib rails.... This experience likely made me what I am today. :)

    Ha!!!!!
I, on the other hand, ;) was very quiet.
I was very little but figured out how to escape the crib AND the apartment!!!
Neighbors would find me running about the area...naked.

    Wait........when was that again?

Yes, thanks to Peggy and her post about that ladies toiletry, I found a few of that kind of item in boxes at an estate sale that were from the 1960's or so and sold them for a nice profit. I no longer have the pics on my pc.

So thanks Peggy :) and this was a fun thread to look through and see what others mentioned. And yes, I remember the well worn items, I just could not bring myself to sell those no matter what the prices they may bring. LOL
