Who are these 2 fine men, Found going through an old folder I am way too old to identify them any help appreciated, these are real photos,
[it's Ted in all photos] Gibson Byrdland. You wouldn't know it by his looks, but he's promoted anti-drugs, and anti-alcohol since the 70s.
An avid hunter (and all-around crazy dude), he once shot a couple of flaming arrows across stage at a concert in Cincinnati, OH USA. He spent the night in jail for his antics.
Ted Nugent first became known through the Amboy Dukes in the late 1960s (although the photos are probably from the 1970s-1980s) . And he is now 70 years old. So I don't think you are too old, @Nancy Neal ... it probably just wasn't your kind of music!
But he is and always has been an idiot. He dodged the draft by soiling/wetting his pants and doing crystal meth prior to his physical. He had sexual relationships with underage girls, even becoming the legal guardian of one of them so she could live with him. In 1990, during the negotiations to end apartheid in South Africa, he said "apartheid isn't that cut-and-dry, all men are not created equal" and described black South Africans as "a different breed of man" claiming they put bones in their noses, walk around naked, and wipe their bottoms with their hands.
