    YOWZER!! That price hurts!

A Cherute was a small cigar or something, wasn't it? I forget...

I had a teeny tiny folding cheroot mouthpiece like that - shape of an acorn only smaller.

A cheroot is just a cheap ceegar.

This thread rubbed off on this morning's sales. I got a SWEET little sterling, reticulated pomander type vinaigrette by Foster & Bailey of Providence Ri. (1878-98)....

    ...for a Quarter.

Wow, maybe I should start buying again. I have so much stuff to sell already, and so little space, that I stopped buying years ago. I miss it!

In all honesty, the case I bought was significantly more elaborate than I was expecting. As well as being larger. But for the quality and price I paid, you honestly can't fault it. I've seen much plainer cases selling for much, much, MUCH more...I'm happy with it. That said if the chance came to get another one, I'd probably jump at it...

Sold the little smellin' ball for $110...to a dealer. Not bad for two bits.

    I LOVE estate sales;).
