    As a “militia officers belt buckle (partial) from the 1840’s” but I appreciate a confirmation of my ID for sure! Typically I don’t have an ID so easy to miss that ;).     Thanks for the backup!;) I am often looking for help with an ID. People probably just assume “i need help” at this point.

    Like the wolf when a foxy lady passes by for sure. Then they did the quick cartoon peer around as if someone was going to pop out of the bushes, pluck it from my hands, and runoff with it howling.

    Agreed and thanks. Often I’ll rinse off old brass or bronze that comes out of the ground, this one I didn’t even bother. Just a very light removal of loose dirt. I like it just the way it is!
