Thank you, I was thankful for the curved beading needles, I snapped an awful lot of them :)

I thought I would resurrect this thread ....
After all these years my chair needed some attention, the seat had sunk a little bit and the braid was falling off.
I had this lovely Victorian fabric from a skirt and I was able to get some decent pieces from it.
Back in 2009 I didn't have any Victorian fabric.
All in all I think it's an improvement. IMG_2872.jpeg IMG_2873.jpeg

After putting in a lot of hard work like that required, I'm sure that you treasure it. Enjoy it. I wonder if your descendants can appreciate the piece? When you're gone, what happens to it? Those pieces that I have and restored are not appreciated and now at 80 yo I know that I must now ask which grandchild and which g-grandchild might want each piece and designate them as gifts. I too have almost forgotten the hard work, but I do enjoy the piece daily.

I just noticed that piece across the top on the back isn't very flat, I missed that somehow...
That will bug me so I'll have to fix it :)

I couldn't leave it like that so this morning I took it off and redid it, much better now :) IMG_2884.jpeg
