weee 388.jpg Snagged this from my favorite thrift the other day before it even made it to the floor.
It is not complete, Missing the flame spreader and maybe something else?
Body has a few dimples but otherwise in great condition.
I was thinking of restoring it or sell as is?
Also it has three pat dates. Apr 23 Dec 31 1895 and Aug 16 1898.
    Any thoughts welcomed and appreciated.

Congratulations! They made so many wonderful household items, it's hard to pick a favorite.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Looks to be in nice condition as well!!!!!:):):) For you, oh how I wish "The Lamp Guy" was still around....near Sturbridge, MA! His shop was absolutely FILLED with ANYTHING one could possibly need for any kind of old lamp!!! Well, except he didn't have an antique tin (?) shade for a hanging store lamp I still have, but you name it, he usually had it!! But he was older and I think the last time we drove by his shop, it was all closed up..........:(

I read they had over 300 lamp patents alone!

Nice buy - I have the same base on my parts shelf in the barn, waiting to be electrified. I'm not sure if it has a burner or not.

Well, walked out to the barn and PHOOEY. I must have sold that base. I only sell bases when I can't find burners for them - sooooo......it obviously didn't have it's original burner. I didn't realize I'm running this low on parts - Ebay, here I come............... LOL!!!!!

Interesting find, the flame spreader is also marked No.4 Radiant with it's own patent.
I'm bidding on one now. "Fingers crossed"
