Upon closer inspection, I discovered that it is NOT a print but an actual painting on board! WOO HOO!</p><p><br /></p><p>Since the glass was broke, I needed to take it out of the frame to prevent further damage to my newly found discovery. </p><p><br /></p><p>After I took off the back boards, there were several sheets of tissue paper between the boards and the painting. Underneath the tissue was this amazing engraving of President Garfield &amp; Family that&#039;s dated 1882!!</p><p><br /></p><p>The engraving was done in Chicago and the painting board has a shop tag also from Chicago. Possibly the painting was also done in 1882?
